Event Details
The requirement for SNOMED CT to be used as the national vocabulary for all electronic systems has been part of national strategy for many years. The imperative for that to happen in General Practice over the next two years was notified by the Department of Health in national policy and through the publication of SNOMED CT as a SCCI standard under the Health and Social Care Act in November 2016.
This briefing is being provided for CCGs and/or their representatives to outline the planned approach and enable questions to be raised with the national programme coordinating the transition with suppliers.
